I am currently working on my bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Utah. I am also very interested in entrepreneurship and business. I enjoy the pursuit of my own education, but I also love helping others learn to enjoy their own academic experiences. I did so well on the ACT that I received a full (presidential) scholarship, so I want to help others achieve the same great results. I am passionate about mathematics and science, and I really enjoy teaching both of these subjects. As a tutor, I work at the student's pace so they do not get overwhelmed, but I also challenge my students to work hard and learn more. I also encourage them to learn from their mistakes. Especially in math and test-taking, it's important to learn how to reason through a problem, not just learn the basic solution to a problem. I am able to tutor students in elementary, middle, and high school math classes ranging from basic arithmetic to upper-level calculus. I can also help with chemistry, biology, physics, and astronomy, and I can also tutor students who are interested in expanding their German language skills. In my spare time, I enjoy traveling, watching sports, and playing a good game of tennis.
